Went here for happy hour and had a pleasant experience. When you first walk in, you are greeted right away by the hostesses and they will lead you somewhere to sit. The restaurant is clean and spacious; there is a huge bar, lots of tables from high to low tops & and an upstairs area (not exactly sure if it is for more private events or another area to dine). The lighting is somewhat dim. Lots of Flat screen TVs hung up so you customers can keep up with the latest news or sports game show. Really love the choice of music btw! Hip-hop ranging from old to new; most definitely gets me in the mood and ready for a few shots! Ha. Some people might think that the selection of food here is weird b/c they offer a variety of "everything" such as sushi to American platters and street-style type of foods. I, on the other hand, kinda like the idea. I love the variety. The happy hour menu offers a good selection of beers and cocktails, apps and sushi. Drinks and food for happy hour were from $5-$7. What we ordered: -Crab crunch roll: 10/10. Tasted great. Bite sized and you get 8pcs -Jalapeño wontons: 8.5/10. Wontons were loaded (yasss btw!) wished they could've been more crispy and the cream cheese not so melted. Still tasted great so I'm not complaining too much. It isn't spicy or anything, for those who are wondering & can't tolerate spice. Supplemented with a side of sauce, which was good. -Beef sliders: 10/10. 2 beef sliders are served. Pattie comes with melted cheese and a sliced pickle on top of the bread. Tasted wonderful. -London Mule: drink was delicious! Has a cucumber kick to it which I like and is different from a regular moscow mule. Def recommend this drink! Overall, service was fast and our waiter was attentive and friendly and he made my boyfriend and I feel very welcomed! I wish I had gotten his name, but he rocked! Will def be coming back in here again!

I had dinner at Randle's one evening with some colleagues while visiting Minneapolis for work. I'm not sure I understand the negative reviews, because our food and service were very good! We started with a few appetizers - the pot stickers and guacamole dip. Both were very good. I had the maui tacos, which were three small soft flour tortillas (thicker than the usual tort), filled with blackened catfish, avocado, cabbage, and a delicious spicy sauce. I wish I had taken a picture, because they were hard to eat, they were so full! Two colleagues shared the nachos and cheese curds. What kind of cheese is used in the curds? I have no idea, but they let me try one, and they were phenomenal. The batter tasted like a tempura batter, and the cheese was nicely gooey. I'd definitely get these again! The nachos were piled high, and even the two of them couldn't finish this dish. My other colleagues' dishes looked good as well - a couple of salads, including chicken and salmon, several burgers, an order of steak tacos, etc. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Even though we sat outside, our server was very attentive. And the weather was perfect for a summertime dinner outside. Yes, Randle's has an eclectic menu. But they do everything quite well, and I would definitely return.

Not entirely sure what all the negativity is about - we had a great experience and certainly weren't bothered having so many tasty sounding menu items to choose from. In town visiting for a wedding and we needed something to eat ahead of our flight home. So many places these days serve breakfast only "brunch" that don't have any lunch items (newsflash to those businesses, that's called breakfast - not brunch), but Randle's has their full lunch menu offered in addition to a breakfast menu. We ordered the cheese curds, carne asada tacos and Kung pao with fried rice. The cheese curds were awesome. Sizable cheesy curds and not overly breaded - a great portion too. The marinara was on the sweeter side. The carne asada tacos were just okay - very small portion of steak which didn't balance well with the thicker tortilla. It tasted like there was an Asian influence to the salsa so it might be a tie into the Asian dishes on the menu. My husband was really impressed with the kung pao and fried rice. Our server (the bar manager) was awesome - super warm, friendly and welcoming- also patient in giving us recommendations. I don't know why you'd complain about a menu with variety unless the food sucks and the food definitely did not suck - wish we had something like this in Dallas!

We stopped in tonight because we are staying downtown and wanted to sit in the upstairs deck. Unfortunately, we got their just after 7 and the deck was closed so we sat outside on the street level. We ordered the sriracha soy edamame for an appetizer and they were excellent - Just the right amount of spice and really good flavor. For dinner I had the tomatillo salad - based on the servers recommendation. It was very good. I had the carne Asada steak added which was delicious as well! I want to go back and try more things!
